The Cots 4 Tots Story
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a nonprofit organization which supports the Marine Corps' annual toy drive. It provides financial, advisory, administrative logistical and promotional assistance to local Toys for Tots Coordinators and various other services that the Marine Corps cannot provide. It also provides educational and informative materials to the general public. It also organizes for national companies to include information about Toys for Tots in their paid advertisements and conducts an education and publicity program each year.
Cots 4 Tots began in 2010 as a fundraising campaign for Bristol's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael's Hospital. The charity has raised tens of thousands of pounds since its inception, helping families of premature and sick babies across the West of England and South Wales. Its mission includes family accommodation houses as well as providing the latest equipment for the NICU.
Cots for Tots House serves as an "home away from home" for families who are staying in the hospital. It is located right next to the NICU, allowing parents to be close to their infants. Since mini cotbed , the charity has helped more than 2,100 families to stay at the house.

Her son and daughter are now healthy and well, however she still visits the hospital regularly and is very grateful to the staff who took care of them.
